Why is everyone so stupid to say Crimea is part of Ukraine? Crimea isn’t part of Ukraine, it’s part of Russia.

It’s because:

When the Soviet Union was dissolved in 1991, Ukraine became independent. The independence of Ukraine and Belarus was recognised in the Belovezha accords of 1991, and the borders were recognised as they were with Crimea in Ukraine.

The Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union ceded the Crimean oblast to the Ukrainian SSR in 1954. The Soviet Union recognised that Crimea had closer ties to Ukraine than to Russia.

The referendum of independence in Ukraine had a majority of Crimea vote to belong to Ukraine.

I’m wondering about attachment and transference with the therapist and the idea of escape and fantasy? How much do you think your strong feelings, constant thoughts, desires to be with your therapist are a way to escape from your present life? I wonder if the transference serves another purpose than to show us our wounds and/or past experiences, but is a present coping strategy for managing what we don’t want to face (even if unconsciously) in the present—-current relationships, life circumstances, etc. Can anyone relate to this concept of escape in relation to their therapy relationship? How does this play out for you?
